About Us
Planted Seed Ministries Inc. was founded by Dr. Renecia Williams- Ellis in 2005. Since then, she has spoken to over 11,000 men and women about change and steps to leaving the past behind. Currently prisons throughout the state of Indiana are using her book "From The Inside Out Who Are You"on the PLUS unit for faith base character building as an eight week course. This book is teaching men who have committed a crime how to change from the inside out and the importance of finding and operating in their purpose.
Planted Seed Ministries Inc. has been utilized as a stepping stone for 100 men that have been released from prison and jails that were homeless after being released from incarceration. We have assisted with housing, job placement, counseling and most importantly love and support as many have transitioned from institutions back into society. Planted Seed Ministries Inc. is currently working with courts, medical and mental health professionals, probation and other local community providers on the opioid and alcohol crisis in Lake County, Indiana.
